Back from the Beach...
... and I don't know why? I spent this past weekend at my buddy Cliff's beach house in Pensacola. Got a little sunburned, drank a few cold beers, recharged the batteries and all... check out this kickass view from his backyard:

I don't know what it is about the Gulf Coast, but any stress that I bring down there disappears no matter how short the trip. I did bring back a few sun blisters since I was too stupid to use any sun screen (Since I'm rocking the farmer's tan this summer and all, I figured I could catch up faster that way)... but all and all, it was definitely a great weekend. I also found a new trucker hat to add to my collection... it simply reads "DAMN, I'm Good!". I plan to use it when playing poker because I think I'm fairly good at that. However, it could just be that the people I play with are bad... but at any rate, it's a cool hat. On a side note, if you want a redneck cool trucker hat for $3.99(US), check out the Shell station located on Interstate 65 off of exit 77.

Anyway, Cash hung out w/ the folks and their 2 dogs... looks like he had a good time:

I guess I need to add strange animals to the list of things that I plan to talk about, because here's another one! This time it's a 12-foot long, half-ton wild hawg... they actually are calling it, "Hogzilla"!

Mystery Creature in Maryland
I got excited when I saw this headline because I thought it might be the ever elusive "Chupacabra", but this thing in Maryland looks like it's either a hyena (sp?) or a shaved dog. Regardless, check out the video... pretty cool.

Scary Stuff
Read this article if you're concerned about homeland security. This will definitely freak you out. We're still at war and America is still a battle front in this war. We need to support the Patriot Act, re-elect President Bush, and continue attacking terrorists where ever they are being supported. Liberals... they just don't get it!
One of my favorite Uncles, who happens to be a lib, just sent me this email from his circle of liberal friends. Someone of these arguments made against Republicans are just so weak, I figured I needed to respond. Check out my response below:

Things you have to believe to be a Republican today:

Jesus loves Democrats even though they hate him. Although, he meant for things like matrimony, conception, and individual prayer to be sacred, he forgives the Democrats for transforming them into political issues. He appreciates the fact that we give reverence to his divinity in our nation's pledge; but perplexed as to why liberals are offended by said mention.

This is a very simplistic view of foreign affairs. We were arming Saddam during the Cold War (remember, when we faced nuclear annihilation and John Kerry was voting against every major weapons system?). Paraphrasing the 911 report (in case you only read the parts printed in the NYT), sometimes the intelligence agencies have to do business with bad men in order to get things done. When your boy, William Jefferson Clinton, decided that this was too unethical for his administration (hahaha... can you imagine Clinton telling Sandy Burger to clean things up and then frisking him as he left the oval office?) we then entered a period barely mediocre intelligence that allowed UBL to sucker punch us where it hurt (9/11).

Back to the cold war... we definitely had to pull some shady deals in the Middle East during the 1980's due to 2 major reasons (1) It's oil resources directly correlate with our national security and the global economy, and (2) Carter botched things up SO BAD in the late 1970's; we were simply playing the cards we were dealt.

Honestly, who cares about Cuba right now? They dug their own grave supporting a Communist regime over the last 50 years. We'll just let Castro die and then turn the place into a resort again.

No one has ever seriously endorsed leaving the UN, so I shouldn't even address this question. However, let's just point out that their Human Rights Committee consists of Libya (chair), Iran, and Syria among others.

Did Al Gore write this email?

Bush is the only president in the last 11 years to give the military a raise (other than miniscule cost of living increases during the 1990's while nearly a quarter of the armed forces were "laid off").

As far as Veterans go, Bush did not cut their major benefits. What he hasn't done is repeal a 1995 decision that took away free lifetime benefits for soldiers that served between 1941 and 1956. Correct my memory... who was President in 1995? Anyway, Veterans are upset that he has yet to overturn the 1995 decision, but "slashing benefits" is a little much unless you're writing dialog for a Michael Moore "documentary".

So Democrats want the government to raise their kids, pay their health care, and stop protecting us from foreign threats... what's everyone going to do with all this free time? Obviously nothing that costs money because the Democrats want us to hand all of that over to them.

With Allies like France, who needs enemies?... seriously? You realize that the only reason they didn't support us is because they (along w/ Kofi Anon's kid) were making TONS of cash of Oil for Food?

You have a good point, we should definitely parallel our domestic policy with countries that were just invaded and had their entire government replaced.

No, they have the best interests of their stock holders at heart. This is how free enterprise works. It is the governments role to regulate and break up monopolies; but as long as the public has options (which they do), again and again the market has proven to be the great equalizer. If you feel taken advantage of, there are hundreds of providers willing to do business with you.

Many Healthcare wouldn't be so expensive if we enacted tort reform to cap the level of frivolous lawsuits... of course, this might tick your buddy John Edwards off...

Teacher unions should be allowed to destroy the public education system, but children shouldn't have the right to use vouchers to attend better private schools. (I like this game!)

You realize that we've found Sarin, VX, and mustard gas since we've been in Iraq? You also realize that we've removed 2 tons of nuclear material since January? Not to mention, the CIA called WMD a "slam dunk", MI-6 and Russian Intelligence both verified this, agreeing there was virtually no doubt that Sadam was packing WMD.

But let's concentrate on the fact that a few troops made terrorists wear panties on their head while dogs barked at them... oh the humanity!

Gay marriage drives up Healthcare costs... I can't believe Democrats are forcing single moms and orphans to work a third job for healthcare, just so Siegfried and Roy can "make it official".

Rush Limbaugh doesn't want my tax money to pay for his well being. If anyone messes up, then "Yes" it is bad. However, if someone messes up and expects someone to clean up their mess, then "Yes", that's worse.

Fulmer to skip SEC Media Day
Phillip Fulmer has to skip SEC media days because he fears for his safety in the state of Alabama, and also wants to avoid any frivolous lawsuits brought on him by angry bama fans.

Many laugh and say "Only in the SEC". The sad thing is that only stuff like this occurs in the SEC because we are the only conference to feature the inbred nation. Seriously, this is yet another example of how far mighty Alabama has fallen. Even though it is common knowledge that they cheated before, cheat now, and will always cheat; they still need to blame others when they're caught.

Dear Alabama - even though your fan base is composed of a bunch of ignorant redneck hicks that have never set foot on campus for any reason other than a football game... please take a minute and realize what kind of image you are putting out there.
